Notes about the photo gallery

Part of the second year of the Single Cycle Course in Conservation of Cultural Heritage at the University of Rome Torvergata is dedicated to the technique of chromatic retouching, which is sometimes necessary on library and archival assets when they feature paperbacks in cardboard.

In order to master chromatic retouching it is necessary to acquire a fair knowledge of pigments and their use.

Here is a photo gallery with some examples of works carried out by the students of the course; in this case the chromatic retouching was performed in using watercolors.
